Happy New Year = New Birth... Right?

ggb

This was submitted by Reader Lily and Reader Cheryl at almost the same exact time!  And just NO!!!!  They say it's currently up on etsy for sale RIGHT NOW!!  Quick while they are still available!  Go get the perfect baby shower gift!  Show that Mom to be what she's going to be in for!  My question is do they also have a c-section doll?  Cause that's the one I need.

AAAAAACK!!!!! I think my retina's have been burned!! (Hopefully not with an imprint of that hideous creation!)

Seriously, people - how does someone CONCEIVE such an idea???? And then to actually go through with it? Scary.

I'm suffering from a touch of the flu - this did not help!

If there's ever been a time I'm glad to have C-sections - this is it!

oh my heavenly days. who would even think of this, "hmmm I think I will knit a woman giving birth, complete with crotch hair and nipples." sick person. My husband says it looks like she is pooping out a baby.

Somewhere on etsy there is a mama nursing doll complete with snap nipples that the baby latches onto. I too would need the c-section one.
p.s. baby should be face down, technically. Part of the reason why I had #1 c-section after 3.5 hrs pushing.

Unbelievable! It borders on pornographic. BTW, how much is it selling for anyway?

haha, I know I already commented, but the word verifier is buthugma. I used to get those when my youngun's were 4 feet tall. Made me smile.

I just threw up in my mouth!

First, who would think this up?--It totally boggles my mind.
Second, who would then figure out all the crochet stitches etc. needed to make it?
Third, who would actually construct it and worse yet put it up for sale?
Fourth, WHY!? Why would anyone do any of the above things, that has got to be one of the most horific uses of crafting materials I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot of crafts gone wrong in my time!) UGH, and DOUBLE UGH!

Of course I HAD to look this up on etsy. It's just so horible.....To make it worse, the doll is 15 inches tall! And the baby COMES OUT! She and her son are "anatomically correct" and there is a detachable placenta and umbilical cord. Apparently the designer thinks it's great for a midwife or any birth professional that works with siblings. Can you imagine a childs horror?!?
And for Amy, the pattern (yes, there may be more than one out there now!) is about $15.

This one is sooooo gross, I will be having nightmare for a looooong time, not to mention, everytime I see yarn, this will be the image that pass through my mind, without my will, I tell ya. Sheesh, I guess there are really people out there who absolutely have no life to speak up.

Word verifier is under...as in I am under the desk not gagging.

Oh shoot, I meant to say in the earlier comment, that I am under my desk gagging...please discard the "NOT" in that comment. TY
