By looking at the shape of this hat maybe those with ponytails will find this hat particularly attractive. I can't think of another reason why this hat would have a defined point in the back. And don't get me started on the owl! Why an owl, I don't know. And it seems as though the mastermind of this hat couldn't even bear to model it herself. She had to get a mannequin head to keep her identity safe.

The owl must be there to keep the pigeons from roosting.
Maybe it's to hold snacks or change or your grocery list. You know, on those days you're wearing pants without pockets...?
I just can't believe this hat really exists. There must have been at least a dozen points during its construction where the red flags signaling "craft-distress" must have been pretty hard to ignore.
I'm thinking Ren Fest... except the owl isn't speaking to me at all... it has costume applications, but a ponytail pocket is really not necessary :)
huh- I'd wear the owl- if it were on a sweater with some funny caption. anyone got a funny thought to go under the owl???
where do people come up with this stuff. that's the creative part.
