Two heads are better than one

I guarantee that you will be noticed if you wear this brooch. It features the heads of conjoined twin sisters amid tulle, pearls, lace and dice. It's got a bit of the grandma in it (the doily), a bit of high style (pearls) and a whole lot of ugly. I keep looking at this picture hoping to come up with something creative to say, but I just look at it, and it looks back and me, and all I can say is "Wow. Wow, that is really ugly." So there you have it.

it reminds me of the ad online for the new busch gardens ride with this strange back story of conjoined sisters...

I'm sure somebody's sister was touched... but I'm just publicly stating, that if any of my sisters EVER gifts me with such an atrocity I'll be talking to a lawyer about disowning you. Fair warning.

Oh, I want it. Can you imagine one of your sisters opening that on Christmas morning? It would be especially fun to have some grandma or aunt who would love it sitting there. Oh, the joy, watching my sister force a smile about it. I'd probably make them wear it, too. If they didn't, I'd just pout to grandma how she didn't wear my gift, and send grandma after her.

I'm scheming now.

I think I must be related to "Keeping it Sane", because I would do that too. And I have a Grandma that would adore the brooch...

how glad am I that keeping it sane and nancy are not related to me?

I'm buying the stuff for that when I go shopping tonight. I'm sure the sister that I'm buying for this Christmas will wear it proudly.

Perhaps with the right outfit it will look good?

At first I was so disturbed I coudn't even think of a comment, but then I read keeping it sane and nancy and have to agree--THAT is funny! My sisters would DIE and probably sport it with pride the rest of the day. Well, as a tribute to Glitter Gone Bad. :)
