Washing in style

Washing after the family is never a glamourous job ... Until now! Turn those icky, yellow scrubbing gloves into some fashionable. Laura B., who sent in this little number, points out that the fabric on the end is a plastic shower curtain and who wouldn't love the darling rickrack! And these can be made to suit anyone's taste! And after you're all done cleaning, why not leave them out near the sink to show off how well they match your kitchen's decor.

It's lovely and functional - clever splash guard ;-)

It reminds me of the Britsh show "How Clean is Your House?" One of the ladies always wears rubber gloves with feathers on them. The other day she was wearing them while she was cleaning the most revolting toilet I have ever seen. All I could think of was that dreck getting on the feathers and sticking. Ewww!

"drek" is such a wonderful word Diane! I am adding it to my vocabulary today! so descriptive and pithy at the same time.

as for the gloves- they are actually selling these in stores too- I just saw them down here at the Winn Dixie.

unfortunately all you've done is remind me that the toilet needs scrubing.

Okay....Would the yucky toilet water (DRECK) etc, get down that ghastly trim? I mean it does flare out. I am afraid of what might drip down inside the gloves. I will take my chances and use a brush.

I actually like these.... I bought some dish washing gloves from Pampered Chef for Breast Cancer that are pink & are similar in the decorating.... I love it! I just hate they make my hands sweat - I'd wear them all the time otherwise!

I'm with who-ever said your hands sweat!

I don't want my rubber gloves getting anywhere near my shirt sleeves .. and those gloves look LONG...
